The prison clean-up campaign is a focused at making the living standards of the prisoners better. The Buea central prison which was build for the accommodation of 400 inmates now host over 2000 inmates including women and children and thus making the living conditions are deplorable. The sanitary conditions of their sleeping space and bathroom and toilets are always a call for concern.
We engage in providing assistances quarterly by disinfecting, cleaning washing all the bathroom and sleeping spaces, disinfect the beds and other living space which are mostly infected with bed bugs. W provide free treatment of skin infections and wounds treatment, diabetes and blood pressure check for older prisoners, hepatitis testing, sanitary towels for women and dresses for some prisoners especially the minors prisoners
